So happy we found this very special chocolatier place! Aarti is lovely and her delicious truffles and delicacies are to die for. While it's so hard to pick a favorite, mine was the Cayenne Pepper truffle, amazing!
We will be back in no time.

I thought it was funny that my wife and daughters, as well as my PA, found this chocolatier in Westport for my b-day present. I now have two boxes of chocolates from Le Rouge. They are excellent and apparently the customer service is equally good. SO in the end, I would highly recommend this chocolatier since my closest friends happened upon this place for my b-day....

 Totally by accident, I found an interesting chocolate shop in the middle of Westport CT. I met the owner Aarti, a passionate retail and wholesale chocolatier who is doing interesting things with chocolate. This store is all about the high end chocolate and her unique international flavors. Not particularly inexpensive, but it's clear from the product that it's definitely worth the price. Highly recommended to all chocoholics!

Came here for a chocolate class with a team from work. Class was a ton of fun, you get to learn cooking tips/science behind working with chocolate. Aarti was a great host.
Oh, and you get to eat a ton of chocolate. And it's delicious. Highly recommend.

This shop is a chocolate lovers dream. It is a local gem. The owner Aarti is one of a kind. Not only is she delightful friendly and helpful. Her chocolate mousse cake is the best I have ever tasted. Light and airy and totally decadent. Actually It is just perfect. And her home made chocolates are too ' melt in the mouth' delicious for words. Besides that the ambiance, the presentation, the beautiful wrapping/packaging is amazing to behold. Go straight there and do not forget to try her hot chocolate!!!!

The artisanal cakes and chocolates by Aarti are just drop-dead gorgeous!  If the high-quality chocolate was not a draw enough, the ingredients - the old stand-by including (almonds, orange) and the exotic (inter alia saffron, pistachio, betel-nut, fennel) take you on a trip across the world.  And no TSA to contend with!  What a deal!

I've now been to Le Rouge several times, and I have yet to encounter a chocolate that wasn't absolute perfection. Each one is beautifully painted and/or decorated, and the various flavors they come in are all unique and delightful. Aarti herself is a very kind and generous woman. Truly a fabulous experience!
